Kinor David is an Orthodox, Carlebach-style minyan for Shabbat and holidays. We sing a lot (with Carlebach nusach for Kabbalat Shabbat and usually for shacharit also), have communal learning between Shacharit and Kriyat HaTorah, and welcome everyone.

Kinor David is a community gathering in joyful prayer , song and Torah.

Kinor David is a halachic community that embraces all Jews no matter what their level of observance, in the spirit of Reb Shlomo Carlebach tz”l. Sabras, immigrants from more than 20 countries, single-parent families, converts and visitors all find a warm welcome together in the Kinor David community.

Kinor David runs Shabbat and holiday prayers and educational and social programs, turning no one away, regardless of their ability to pay for membership or events. We have a chesed fund that assists people in need.

We show people new to it all the place in the siddur and make everyone feel at home.

We always welcome people for Shabbat meals, if they need.
